Capt. Jones has well over 10 years experience as a Master Captain.
He currently serves on our admiralty board.

Captain Marti H
|
Location: Clearwater
Standing: Admiralty Board, Expert Navigator Status, John's Pass Member representative, Training
Division Commander.
Capt. Marti is a Master Captain, USCG Approved Coast Guard Instructor, Tow Endorsed, Celestial
Navigation, Unlimited Tonnage Radar , MMD, AB and STCW. She is currently seeking her 200 ton license.
Capt. Marti maintains a perfect safety record.
Capt. Marti participated in the live terrorist training drills in the Gulf Of Mexico with six Law Enforcement
Divisions.
Capt. Marti's crews have been told by USCG inspectors that her crews are some of the "best trained crews they
have seen in years".
Capt. Marti has also run THEE most difficult vessel in the entire oil fleet to operate. The vessel is
the former USCG experimental SES Ship "Petrel". She is one of only two Captain's who was able to run this vessel
with absolutely no incidents.
Capt. Marti is one of only a few Captain's with no incidents in John's Pass.
Capt. Marti has run vessels from 26 ft to 130 ft. She has operated crew boats and passenger boats
carrying over 300 passengers. She has spent most of her career working offshore.
She also has spent over two years instructing and training new Captain's across the United States.
Capt. Marti is one of only a few working female Captain's on the Central West Coast of Florida. She
has been written up in various Marine magazines.
She is also a swim and snorkle instructor, advanced certified diver and former lifeguard.

Captain Laura Nelson

She holds a 1600 ton masters...with an oceans and towing endorsement.
NO SMALL Feet
She has STCW certification...GMDSS certification.

She has many certification but those are the biggies
She is a 40 hour medical person in charge.
Capt. Laura has a perfect safety record.
All of us applaud Capt. Laura for how far she has progressed in her career and still hasn't forgotten her
friends. Rofl.
Seriously, Capt. Laura is truly one of the best Captain's around.
Capt. Laura is one of only a few working female Captain's on the Central West Coast of Florida. She

Captain Melanson - FT.PIERCE ADMIRITY BOARD - Fleet 4

Standing: Admiralty Board
Capt. Melanson has a variety of experience with both sail and power vessels. She
is involved in teaching youth the ways in sailing and instructs adults in sailing
as well.
She is our Admiralty Board representive for our new Ft. Pierce Fleet 4

Captain Dane Karcher

Standing: Marine Consultant to Admiralty Board
Capt. Dane is a well known and expert shark fishing Captain.
Capt. Dane donates the use of his vessel as one of our Search and Rescue
vessels. His brother also will be coming on board soon.
